Background and Expertise
Jason started his career in the medical profession, spending time with doctors and their staffs as a pharmaceutical sales rep.ย
After about 10 years, changes in the industry and downsizing prompted him to reevaluate his options. He ended up leaving the profession, despite having enjoyed the medical field.ย
Jason was approached by a friend who suggested he would do well as a wholesaler in life insurance. He immediately liked the idea of protecting families, based upon some early experiences prior to that time.ย ย ย
The father of Jasonโs childhood friend had passed away after sitting in his armchair one night and just never woke up. Jason had never forgotten that his friendโs dad had only $50,000 in life insurance from a work policy that just covered his annual salary.ย
Shortly after beginning his insurance career at Hartford as a wholesaler, Jason heard about a similar situation involving a guy in his mid 30โs whoโd passed suddenly, again only having coverage for 1.5x his salary.ย ย
These experiences and others helped to solidify Jasonโs resolve to help families get the protections they need.ย In the years that followed, Jason became a successful wholesaler, working with hundreds clients and their advisors to implement life insurance strategies of all kinds.ย
In 2012, Jason was sitting in a hotel room in Knoxville when he received an urgent call that Hartford was selling its life insurance division, prompting him to transition again.
Prudential eventually bought out Hartford and Jason began a new course educating Prudential advisors and their clients on a full range of life insurance strategies.ย
Jason sat in over 400 meetings during those years, with advisors and clients and cultivated a depth of knowledge that afforded him confidence in handling virtually any problem, from very simple to advanced life insurance strategies.ย
Eventually, Jason wanted to โget closer to the saleโ in his words and even though his territory and influence with Prudential was expanding, he was losing work life balance due to too much travel and lost family time.ย
So he decided to โtake a chance on himselfโ and began working direct with consumers. Not long after that, Jason started with I&E in 2017 and has been in integral part of shaping our values, knowledge base and expertise.ย ย

Jason priorities family time and makes it a point to schedule regular vacations with his family.ย He has been married for 25 years, has 3 daughters that keep him busy and they all live in Nashville with their dog, Sadie.ย
